Sponsorship Information
Who are we?
Team 5940 BREAD is a student-run, FRC Robotics team based on Design Tech High School campus in Redwood City, California. This upcoming 2026 season will be our eleventh season competing.
For last year’s game, Reefscape, our team spent 9 weeks building a robot named Taiyaki. We took Taiyaki to two regionals, Silicon Valley Regional (SVR) and San Francisco Regional (SFR), where we won and received the Excellence in Engineering award at both, which allowed us to attend the world championship. At the 2025 FIRST Championship, we ranked 1st in our division and captained an alliance. We ended the season ranked 8th in the world out of over 3,000 teams according to Statbotics, a popular FRC resource.
Our Mission
Our mission is to spark youth interest in STEM within our community and empower students to become innovative problem solvers by developing leadership and technical skills.
Why Sponsor Us?
Unlike other teams, we do not require membership fees, and we cannot accept family donations or donations from individual people. As a student-operated team running a high-budget program, we rely solely on corporate sponsorships to continue our work.
Your donations will go back to our community, from supporting our outreach efforts for our community around our school, to teaching the members of our team and giving them opportunity to discover and explore what they are interested in. When you support our outreach initiative, we are able to host events such as free STEM workshops for kids ages 5-13 and week-long summer camps as well as participate in community events such as the San Mateo County Fair.
When you sponsor our team, you will also receive a variety of benefits including appearing on our website, having your logo broadcast live at multiple competitions, and having your brand promoted and advertised to thousands at various competitions and tech conventions. In addition to this, all donations will be tax-deductible because our team is a non-profit organization.
